They banned me!!!

Smash and I were playing and we were disconnected. Not a big deal, right? This happens all the time. Well, when we tried to log back on, a screen came up that said, "This World of Warcraft account has been closed and is no longer available for use. Please go to [http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/misc/banned.html] for further information."

I'm thinking, bullcrap. Why? We didn't do anything. And we know they must have banned our IP address because both Smash and I can't play. And we can't play our alliance accounts, either. I read on the forum that you can lock your IP address to your connection so you can only play through that IP address. I wonder if thats what happened to us? But how on earth can you lock your IP IN GAME? I asked the forum that question.

But anyway, had this happened to anyone else? Was it really just Smash and I?

They banned my account! Perma-banned for being highly offensive! Did I say something to offend one of? If so, I'm sorry. It would've been nice to run these kind of things by me instead of going straight to the GM. but if it wasn't any of you, then i wonder what got us banned?

I figured out what happened!
Smash's little brother wanted an account a few days ago. So, Smash set him up with one of his. And... well, I', thinking that he must have done something wrong.

i can't believe that kid! he's not allowed on our computers anymore...
he told us he made a black guy and named him nager. which was kind of funny.... and he said he spit on everyone and yelled for the horde a lot.
i told him i'm glad he's got so much pride for the horde but he still shouldn't do stuff like that.

Hmm... if they dont lift the ban, is there not a way of useing a proxy or somthing?

Smash was looking at a way to try to hide/change IPs. He's more the computer geek than I am. He gets into the whole hacking thing. So, I bet he'd find a way.

But thank you guys for sticking up for me. :] It sucks that I juuuust get settled in this server and they ban me for something I didn't even do. And thats just silly of them to ban by IP addresses. Who does that anymore? really...

but the child has been punished and isn't allowed to play anymore. too bad for him. ha!
