Hello all,
I am writing to inform you that I will be producing a new forum for AoS created by myself. This will mean that I can
create it to suit us better and provide options we require. One of the main things you may be interested in is that guild
ranks will be changed and users will have to register to the guild website to receive the first initial promotion. When the
account is created the officers will be notified so they can make the promotion. In addition the new user will be emailed
the guild rules, which will also be displayed instantly after registration so there will be no excuses. Also it is possible that
users will have to apply, using a form, to join the guild rather than /w in game. This may reduced the number of people who
/w someone and turn out to be ninjas.
The main advantage of this also is everyone should register otherwise they will not receive that first initial promotion meaning
that they cannot make any withdrawals from the GV at all. This should work as a initiative to make users register. This should then
hopefully make the website a lot more active. The webpage will also have a simplified, easier to note domain. While registering you will
also have to select the professions your characters have. This will then be stored in a pre-created topic with a table so that we can see who
ha what professions and ones we require more of.
I am currently working on a webpage project for computer advice. Hence I will begin production after this has been completed.
